Marshall has been a resident of Myrtle Beach since 1963. He has seen the Beach grow from the laid back seasonal resort of those times into the dynamic,vibrant and yet still laid back Grand Strand that stretches form Little River to Pawley's Island. For all of those of years Marshall has lived within sight of the Atlantic Ocean. The Ocean Front is his hometown and Marshall knows the neighborhood. A native of Raleigh North Carolina – Marshall was educated in Connecticut and at The University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill.

Marshall grew up in the Myrtle Beach real estate world. His mother was one of the first female real estate brokers in South Carolina. In 2001, he returned to his roots and re-entered the Ocean Front marketplace. His focus has been property East of The Intercoastal Waterway with emphasis on the Ocean Front.
